Jerry Snyder is an experienced litigator with more than 25 years of practice representing clients in complex civil litigation throughout Nevada. His practice includes construction defect defense, personal injury defense, commercial litigation, antitrust matters, mechanics lien law, Nevada business entity disputes, employment litigation, and class action defense.
A fifth-generation Nevadan raised in Mason Valley, Jerry brings a deep understanding of Nevada’s legal landscape, courts, and business community to each matter he handles. His extensive experience allows him to provide practical, strategic counsel tailored to the unique challenges facing businesses, insurers, and industry professionals across the state.
Jerry earned his Bachelor of Arts from Humboldt State University in 1994 and received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1997. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk to Justice Cliff Young at the Nevada Supreme Court.
Since being admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1998, Jerry has represented insured and self-insured clients, contractors, developers, and businesses in both state and federal trial and appellate courts. His construction defect practice includes defending general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in residential and commercial matters ranging from single-party disputes to large, multi-party litigation. His personal injury defense experience includes premises liability, transportation, and general negligence claims.
Jerry is known for delivering thoughtful legal strategy, practical solutions, and steady advocacy in high-stakes and complex disputes.
